Dear Friends,
As the number of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases rises nationwide, I write to share with you the proactive steps our event facility is taking to help keep our guests safe. Please understand that this guidance is subject to change as the situation is rapidly evolving.
During business hours, our staff has been instructed to focus additional attention on wiping down frequently touched surfaces, such as ingress/egress touchpoints and elevator panels. Additionally, you will notice our lobby security team wearing white gloves to help mitigate the number of times guests touch the lobby panels. Please politely ask our security team to call your elevator for you and your guests and they will accommodate whenever possible.
Furthermore, our evening janitorial team is taking additional steps to ensure cleanliness. Currently, our janitorial staff is utilizing Waxie’s 710 disinfectant to wipe down all common area touchpoints (door handles, restroom fixtures, elevator cabs, etc.). In addition, we will also be deploying Protexus electrostatic sprayer equipment with Purtabs sanitizing tablets following every event in our space. Finally, all Merchants Exchange Club employees have been asked to follow CDC guidelines, which include regular, vigorous hand washing, ensuring clean work areas, and staying home if they are sick.
We are taking this situation extremely seriously while maintaining focus and calm. We are committed to doing everything we can to provide our guests with the safest possible environment and we are sensitive to the mounting challenges posed by this unprecedented situation.
