Greenery hanging from the ceilings, encapsulated books on every table and grass lining the elevator foyer marked the presence of the 3-day Green Biz Innovation Forum at the Julia Morgan Ballroom the week of October 10th. Speakers included high level executives from Nike, the Boeing Company and Adaptive Edge, which is hosting its own conference with MXP in March 2012. Green Biz produced an interactive format for attendees who were able to creatively construct concrete ideas and post them to a growing storyboard over the duration of the conference. Nike’s visual storytelling of how they recycle plastic bottles, turn them into thread and make eco-friendly clothing adorned the Merchants Exchange pillars for passersby to see.
